Content writers platform
Wordly was created as a side project by vidimatic; an animation studio specialized in infographics and explainer videos.
They realised that there was no specific platform where quality content writers and quality content searchers could meet. And decided to create a platform with a high quality control where both writer and client would benefit.
The target audience for Wordly was split into two: Creative and commercial. Both needed to be addressed.
The created icon is easily distinguishable. The asterisk is used in text as a pointer to an annotation or footnote, the icon is placed at the end of the logomark. Referencing what is to come, and explained further.
The three legs of the asterisk symbolize the three sections that form the company; the content writers, the client and the platform itself. A clear contrast is created with the colour distinction to easily navigate the platform.
I like to do something special for every client. Because of the text based concept behind this visual identity I created a font for Wordly. The most important aspects are readability and subtle quirks.
For the the business cards I asked every employee to give their favorite quote, as shown below, in the created font.
